• History

The Feminist Principles of the Internet are the result of many years of deliberation and collaboration among feminist techies from all over the globe. The first meeting, organized by APC in 2014, produced version 1.0 of the Principles. The next year, in 2015, we met again with new activists and produced an improved version 2.0 (and this website). Since then, we've been organizing city conversations around the world to discuss and unpack our feminist framework.  Enjoy browsing through the resources on this website or click on Download for a PDF version of our current iteration of the Principles.
